this is a painting from 2007. one of the many which werent photographed properly. and i am now trying to get some more of them documented. it depicts, well, i dunno.

beautiful work!! i really like it - it reminds me strongly of Bacon's work - and i really do like the detail of the grain/texture and the sense of contour lines that shape this heavily disfigured shape. Love the segmentation of the foreground and the background, these lines portray this piece to have a more illustrative feel ! great job, this one will be going down into my favourites.

yes i borrowed quite a few bits off of bacon, the lines defining the backdrop, flat colors for the background. the sort of angles. i am a fan after all.
